Mail Archive SM Electronic Data Packaging

Ibis's two mail archive offerings streamline the legal production and document review process: MailArchive which culls responsive data into industry-standard mail archives, and MailArchive Consolidation Utility, which aggregates multiple archives.

Both of these offerings integrate with TotalControl Electronic Discovery Service and Ibis ScopeControl Electronic Discovery Service.

MailArchive

Ibis's MailArchive provides selective, culled data packaged as PST or NSF mail archives in which only relevant messages are packaged.

MailArchive enables clients to eliminate non-mail items, duplicate files, and employ numerous searching techniques prior to review. After review for privilege and relevance, clients can further cull a data set using specific inclusion and exclusion parameters. The final mail archives delivered include only the desired responsive files, packaged in the same mail archive format from which they were extracted. Mail archives are often an efficient format for production or document review. MailArchive delivers only the relevant files while maintaining the integrity of the original metadata.

MailArchive Consolidation Utility

MailArchive Consolidation Utility provides the option to merge multiple source or processed mailboxes (PST and NSF formats) into a single archive in its original format. This allows responsive data in multiple mailboxes of a single user or multiple mailboxes of multiple users to be aggregated into single mailboxes for streamlined review.

The ibis (pronounced i' – bis) is a bird of African origin that since ancient times has symbolized knowledge, justice, wisdom and truth. This symbolism, along with the well-known avian ability to pinpoint an object of prey in any surrounding, presents a perfect metaphor for the process of electronic discovery. Ibis has the knowledge, experience and process to precisely identify the most important piece of information from the most daunting environment imaginable - your data!
